Dear Ken: OT OT ARTIFICIAL HEART My neighbor directly across the street from me needs a new heart. She was just told a week or so ago she doesnt qualify to be on the Donated Organ Recipient list as she once had some cancer (many years ago and considered healed) and her age which is about 65 (not sure exactly). She looks pretty good to me but has been told her heart is weakening and she is going up to Shantz (sp) at Univ. of Fla in Gainesville where they have a big heart center and are to advise what drugs they might be able to use to extend her days. Your artificial heart would probably be a GodSend to people like her. Just thought I would tell you. JDN
