I sold AMD yesterday (at the bottom, as usual), only to witness today a 12% gain after the BoA upgrade. IMO it was never more obvious that this was manipulation to drive the stock price down and buy in again cheap later. Especially the price targets for AMD were an joke: Whittington didn't alter his EPS estimates but he upped the price target by 30% today. Does he want to tell us that AMD deserves a 30% higher P/E level today after it was doomed one week ago?

I appreciate your efforts but I don't think you will be successful. Analysts do these kind of things on a regular basis but usually they cover their tracks better. If they get away with this all the time why shouldn't that apply for Whittington this time?
