What they want is to collect their money regardless of the price.

You lost me on that. Doesn't the price at which they sell it have to higher than the price they paid in order for them to make a profit, and the higher the better? Or, do you mean that they will just flip the shares and take (roughly) the premium they were given when they bought the shares?
