It's tough being the only semi in the red today, but let's recap where AHAA is at to the best of my knowledge:
-leader in switches, both in market share and technology. Design wins in the new advanced phones, not "end of life" phones like some PA guys. (Ahem: ANAD)
-HBT PA and production orders just announced, so no slowdown there, just penetration into a new market.
-Broadband, preferred supplier to NT and LU, again being designed into the advanced equipment and technologies, no slowdown there unless more bandwith is a dead concept.
-RF ICs going to computers from CPQ and Dell for wireless connectivity, I can't wait for no wires!
-Engineers at NOK, pressing for GaAs switches, when production orders for NOK are announced, watch out!
To sum it up, AHAA is at the forefront of GaAs technology, not lagging. Their design wins assure future growth in the leading edge phones, broadband and computer applications. Like they said in the last CC, they are in all the new, advanced MOT phones. MOT is ramping up for the holiday season, and are keeping AHAA very busy.
This is all one man's observations, and should only be taken as such. I have put my money where my mouth is, AHAA is my only holding currently, but it is large, so should we tank, I'll be bloodied, but if we soar, I'll be party'in!
Cheers,
