Analysts are biased scum and should be treated as such. What has changed in a week Mr. Whittington? Ashok Kumar will likely get some "come-uppance" as well. We'll all know in a few weeks when these companies report. Credibility is all an analyst has, and with the underwritting these investment firms do, I think the credibility is already strained. If these blokes are proven dead wrong in their million dollar analyses, their credibility will go negative, IMO.
