I respect your candid self appraisal, Jacob. I think that's an admirable process that you probably learned in med school, as I've seen it in other docs. But I have to disagree with you on two points:

You haven't lost the opportunity at all. Folks said the same thing about Cisco in 1992 when they missed the run from a split adjusted .75 to .85. If you consider the long term potential for returns from Q, the move in last few days is trivial - mouse nuts.

There are probably only a handful of young enabling Gorillas in the investing universe. We've put in about 100 man years hunting for them on the G&K thread, and Qualcomm's the only one we've come up with so far.

Don't let pride keep you from capitalizing on a unique investing opportunity with a very low risk and immense potential for reward.
