Hi Dennis - thanks for the kind words :). It is pure coincidence that 60 Minutes reran the Lee's case that evening after I posted here. It is disheartening to hear the final note that Secretary Richardson remains quite intransigence when 60 Minutes tried to get an update from him. Anyway, evidently, the exodus has begun nytimes.com while the dollar factor has a lot to do with it, the best and the brightest who choose the career path in the public sector are less likely to be influenced by money. After all, people like Dr Berkman and Dr Rakestraw cited in the articles could have gotten better jobs in the roaring 90s just the same. So, people can draw their conclusion with regard to the underlying reasons for the exodus. best, Bosco
