SAN JOSE, Calif., Sep 18, 2000 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- SanDisk Corporation (Nasdaq:SNDK), the world's largest supplier of flash data storage products, has begun to use SupplyPoint Applications 3.1 to streamline its extended supply chain and help ensure on-time shipping of products, reduce cycle time and shortages and boost customer satisfaction.
The program leverages the Web for delivery of information about SanDisk's supply chain and fulfillment process by maximizing use of the space investments made in current information systems and pulling critical data elements from SanDisk's QAD MFG/PRO system. The process thus affects the supply/chain fulfillment process by linking SanDisk's data into one unified view. The result provides an easily accessible link for SanDisk allowing it to improve business results and maintain competitive advantage.
