I disagree with this point. Shipping 1-2 quarters earlier or later is just a very small hiccup compared to a known good volume ramp from a brand new copper fab- something that we know now, and we did not 2 quarters ago.

Hence, my assertion that, even though AMD is not shipping the low end desktop and servers (though I doubt that anyone really expected AMD to make much headway in servers that quickly- hence it's really low end that they missed), I maintain that having 2 quarters of surprising good performance from Dresden (not withstanding Paul's "Where's the Cu performance difference?"), underscores a stronger fundamental picture NOW than two quarters ago.

AMD fundamentals are not as good as what
they were two quarters back where it looked like AMD was going to be shipping volumes in low-end-desktop/high-end-desktop/laptop/server marke segments
(consumer and commercial)in the second half of the year.
