Had dinner at JITB last night, so I won't be celebrating again tonight by visiting my current outperformer. I don't think I mentioned that one of the lighter moments during my recent shoot for Coke/Foodmaker was when a motorcycle cop pulled over a motorist into the parking lot of the JITB where we were shooting. I got a great shot of him and his police bike, which had a Jack clown head smiling irreverantly from the tip of his 2-way radio antenna. He wouldn't say anything on camera about Coke because it was against policy, but there he was, giving us free advertising for Jack. How'd you like to get pulled over by this guy and see that clown head on his motorcycle? I guess any advertising is good advertising as long as your audience sees it! When he finished writing up the ticket, he complained to the JITB manager that they were still out of Jack clown heads and wondered when he was going to get another one because his was fading. Jack is pretty cool now, I guess, and those clown heads are really moving out the door. Heck, I'd put one on my car, but it has an electric antenna that disappears into the fender. D. Kuspa
