Rudedog, Cobalt is bought and SUNW's total strategy is yet to be unveiled -- i.e. how it will relate to solaris, Sparc etc. Zander says they are not yet willing to lay their cards out on the table for all to see but I am sure they have very carefully conceived how it will fit into SUNW's vision of the future and their key technologies. With some companies I might not believe this, with SUNW I do. This is a visionary company if it is anything. This purchase extends SUNW's domain and their reach. SUNW is growing from the top down, unlike the earlier fear that MSFT would succeed by growing from the bottom up. The CFO says the purchase is accretive and will add to SUNW's bottom line.
