I still see a lot of K6-2s out there at retail. Problem is that they don't demand top dollar like the higher speed Intel chips (yes-Mhz sells).
I'm hearing that AMD will basically "really slow down" production of K6-2 wafers the third week of October. I don't know if this includes wafers for notebook K6-2s...
It's about time for some notebook Athlons cores, lower power consumption is a primary ajustment in the upcoming Athlon cores so we shall see.
