Each city is different... for me I have no choice, but both my sisters have the choice between cable and dsl. One picked cable and the other used cable for over a year until their name came to the top of the dsl waiting list. The shared bandwidth is noticable at times, but still way faster than 56K. I get 3 Mbps max, but most of the sites don't support that speed anyway. Mark
