I can think of few things more stupid we do than sit in traffic jams due to bad traffic management." Several years a go I read in Forbes (some Professor wrote the article) that in order to pay for all the government entitlements present and future rate, a child born that day would have to pay upwards of 80% of their income in taxes, throughout their working life. I think a lot of us are up over 50% now...federal, state and local...etc. etc... How will you explain that to your kids...? --- Often, traffic lights are asynchonous for the purpose of slowing traffic. This is traffic management... --- I remember that 30 years ago we were going to "run out of oil in 20 years"...someday, I suppose.
