Easier said than done. I'm not a timer. We were discussing valuations from a variety of metrics on this board at the time.

Were you not at Rule Maker.com learning balance sheets and income statements so you could combine fundamental analysis with valuations? In spite of that you might ask why I didn't sell any Qualcomm during any of that "Pike's Peak or Bust" momentum. Simply because I bought the stock last year for the long term. The stock is now up 103% for all of us from the 52 week low. Depending on what view of the peak one looks, that could be a pro or a con. Many here have the view that 103% is quite good and it gets even better if you adjust the time frame back to March/April/May/June/July and parts of August 1999. I don't think it's going to run up over $100 by week's end, but she'll be there for good at some point in the future if the revenue growth and earnings set up nicely as the quarters roll along.
