Paul, And it has to HALT when going BOTH UP and DOWN during power transitioning. That's true. I wonder if it is the switching of the multiplier or the change of voltage that is forces the processor to halt that it is noticeable. Anyway, the technology is still useful, as is, when you do something something else on the laptop, other than watching a DVD movie, or when as sharky said, you want to see the movie to the end. Joe
