Gary, In a startup I want differenciating technology and strong engineering sections working in fast growing markets. I think that IMPX can be made to fit this model. If IMPX tries to base its success on low cost volume production with a real bottom line cost control approach than they might as well go out of business today, they are simply not cost competive in the volume market. Just look at how easy it was for TI to steal all the Hard Disk sockets away from IMPX. Look at the 10Q they dont have good margins, so no amount of cost control can fix that. The only fix that I know of for this problem is new products targeted at high margin sectors. The only way to get new products is to hang on to your experienced engineers, thats why I was pleased to see that they are cutting back in other areas but keeping engineering alive. As for the handle, I think it best fits my life style, personality and stock picking capabilities. Sorry if it offends! SLOB
