It's another weird example of "Rambus Way" logic how everybody here is so obsessed with the "failure" of DDR when Rambus is supposedly certain to collect higher royalties on it than they do on their own flawed design. DDR will be out in PC memory in due time, as I said before, by all indications it's being produced in larger volumes than RDRAM right now.

And as for apples and orangest, Rambus used to have a little bit of a niche market in graphics cards, before it made it into its little bit of a niche market in PCs. Rambus was never near dominant in graphics, of course, and it seems to have disappeared completely from that market.
