peter, they are not breaking up the company. they just have organized into two business units within the company. in an odd way for us longterm holders of this stock, it is good to see management taking the action that they have so far. they have also put a stake in the ground against which they will be measured, i.e. breakeven in q4 and profit in q1. this will be the first real test of the new management team (read ardent management). until several qtrs of convincing turnaround results this stock will continue to be a real dog. but if they are successful in turning it around, the results could easily be in the multi 100% roi from these levels a year from now. of course all this is imo only.
