re: Dell Precision WS 620 and 8 RIMM's
This system supports two Xeon processors with dual channel 840's. No repeaters there.

Do you own one. I base all my comments on repeaters based upon the limit of 32 RDRAM devices per channel or 64 on dual channel 840 chipset machine. Are you commenting that it has two 840 chipsets per machine that I would clearly skeptical about. Intel clearly documents on it's 840 chipset web pages the implied use of repeaters to create systems with higher memory capacity. This system appears to be first one that actually utilizes repeaters from first glance.
