Thanks Microe, I see you are an asics designer by profession. I hope you come around this thread more often to keep old economy guys like myself from screwing up important technical issues. (grin) I would be perfectly happy to do less talking and more listening on this thread if we had some more technically oriented guys posting.

Here is a recent announcement by QCOM concerning their MSM3300 solution:

biz.yahoo.com

Qualcomm recently announced “Sample Shipments of MSM3300 Solution Integrate Advanced Wireless Internet Launchpad Technologies Including Position Location, Bluetooth, MP3, MIDI and Mass Storage Device Controller”

Also, here is the 1999 announcement where QCOM says they plan to use SST flash in CDMA chipsets:

Qualcomm to use SST flash in CDMA Chip Sets

ebnonline.com

Do you have any comments on SST's likely role, if any, in the above chipset? Or for that matter, as both a QCOM and SSTI shareholder, can you shed any light on the role that SST plays, or is likely to play, in QCOM's business? (How is that for a broad based question? (grin)

Thanks, Huey
