... my friend JDN ... greetings as my wife and I head off to Chicago to visit one of my very best friends, Dave (who I have quoted here about investing) and his wife ... and then we are off to Indianapolis and the United States Grand Prix ... can't wait for that ...

... by the way, Dave, who has much more experience in investing than I do (32+ years), completely disagrees with my bearishness for the next six months, although he is very concerned about energy costs (in terms of his investments), whereas, he loves it in terms of the small oil company he owns and operates in Southern California. Dave thinks that tech stocks will be off and running higher in October.

I also know that my prediction of a 20% correction in the Dow and Nasdaq by this past Tuesday (consider that make believe beer you and others won to have been mailed already) did not come close to happening, although I am sure that most all of you knew that I was wishing more than believing.

My point. I am still concerned for almost everyone here who focuses on how great a company SUNW is, and seemingly, pays very little attention to macroeconomics, international economics and the equity markets overall. My sense (if I have any) is that is where the largest dangers are, and although I don't expect any of you to try and time the market as I am, SUNW very well could drop 30% or more in a heartbeat (through no fault of its own). I hope everyone of you (especially with more than 1,000 shares) have considered that and have taken protective action of some type in what I think of as very dangerous times.

... talk with you all next week ...

Sincerely,

Ken Wilson
