To answer your question of why I did't buy, at $6 we had a int'l meltdown, so all my stocks were in the crapper. I chickened out the last dip to $10, and missed the nice ride to $60. I've done OK with other choices, so I am not bitter. I apologize if that's what it sounds like. Maybe I am wishing it back to the mid 20's, but my reasoning is sound, and obviously apparent to others as well if the RBOC's, and CLEC's are WELL off there highs. There is a reason. What then? Well, that's what I'm asking?! I think the telecoms are showing the ill effects of bidding out the wazoo for multi-spectrum licenses, and are trying to figure out how best to re-coup their bid-out capital. How do you do that? By stretching payment terms, negotiating for lower prices, hyping service features to warp the public into "needing" these services now. This is the logical game that is played over and over in the corporate world. Will TKLC succomb to this pressure? Maybe, that's why I've been watching...the market over-reacts both ways. It over-reacted in the 60's, now it's over-reacting in the 20's.
Glad to see lively discussion on this thread!
