Current overall market conditions suggest caution for long positions

thanks for your opinion, LG, always interesting to see how successful people from any perspective think. Just curious: how do traders balance stock vs. market factors? that is, obviously you buy if you're bullish on both a company and the broader market, and sell (or short) if you're bearish on both. But let's say you were bullish on NTAP but bearish on the market in general--how would one play that situation?
