I realise that many are mainly only playing HiTECH stocks and basicly ignore whats happening to the DOW. Maybe they are right that the DOW doesnt mean anything, but I dont hold that view.

This has worked and will work until only those that have the most screwed up idea of how to value stocks are left in the techs, and they will have nobody to sell to. Many have been trained not to care about logical valuations but there must be some large more prudent players left in this market. When they pull their money it will all collapse - I was thinking it may be foreign money that gets pulled, but they are probably the ones who will be left with the bag - the Japanese got some overpriced real estaste, Europe gets VSTR for $34 Billion and the rest of the junk. Problem is, stocks certificates are being looked at like gold once was, rare and valuable, especially the fun, shiny names like Juniper and Sycamore and RedHat.
