Murali, Many of the laws passed by the Congress, and upheld in the courts of the land, have nothing to do with the feelings of the majority of citizens. Laws are passed for many reasons, many of them to grease the squeaky wheel of some lobbyist, or some huge political contributor, or some "special interest" group that is making a lot of noise on the streets.
As has been shown, many times, in documents written by the "founding fathers" of this country, the only purpose for the "so called" separation of church and state, was to prevent any religion from ruling a nation such as was the case, to an extent, in England, and completely in Spain, and Italy. It was intended to facilitate "freedom of religion", not to abolish it.
As in any biological form, elements, such as sperm and ovum, unite and form the seed that will grow into an adult organism, if it is not interfered with. Therefore, the instant human sperm and eggs unite, an adult human being has begun to be formulated. Therefore, to kill an unborn fetus, is murder in the first degree, and should be punished as such, IMO. Too many women use abortion as a convenient form of contraception, so they can spread their legs for every Tom, Dick, and Harry, that they want to roll in the hay with. This is all part of the degradation of society that has been growing at an, ever increasing, rate of speed. ~H~ |
