It takes 18-24 months to design a chipset.

If there will be a non-Rambus chipset in one year, wouldn't that mean work started 6-12 months ago?

The Dramurai know this and this gives them no reason to buy all that expensive equipment to make DRDRAM.

Therefore, I ****STRONGLY**** believe Intel will not be able to make a high volume release of P4 until there is an alternative memory.
