FJ, I have a great deal of respect for the working men and women of this country. What I do not respect, are the labor unions that take advantage of these fine people. Any organization will have a number of stooges for hire to do the dirty work. Many times these stooges are not even employees but, work for the union that represents these employees, but there are also those employees who will do such things because they have some beef with management, and don't have the guts to go and get another job. The owners of companies have put forward a lot of capital to start up a business, hire emplyees, and market the product. They have taken an enormous financial risk, and are the OWNERS of that business. If anyone doesn't like the way the owner his running HIS business, that emplyee has the option of getting a job elsewhere.
One problem I have, is that my age causes me to remember businesses in the "start-up" stage, and I have never been a part of, not a proponent of, the humongous, multinational, industrial giant corporations. I consider myself fortunate to have been able to avoid such a business atmosphere, and still achieve success. ~H~ |
