Pregnancy from rape is common, and happens all the time. A lot of rapes don't get reported, especially those involving incest. Some fathers go to church on Sunday, only to come home and rape their daughters. I've heard that about 1 in 4 female children are abused during their childhood, most by a member of the family. Even if it's 1 in 40, it's a huge number of women who were victimized as children.
It's probably why most women vote Democrat. They have already been victimized, or know someone who has been victimized, and don't want to be abused again by politicians, who, in the Republican Party, threaten to victimize them one more time by raping their right to decide when they will have children.
But, why are you so eager to minimize the trauma and viciousness of rape? Why try to make people believe that rape doesn't cause pregnancies? Of course it does.
