KALAHARI RESOURCES INC ("KLA-V") SOUTHERNERA RESOURCES LTD
("SUF-T") - San Juan Project, Central New Mexico, U.S.A. - 7,000'' Drill Program

Project Manager: Dr. John E. Frost

On Site Project Geologist: Richard Heine

I am very proud of our project consultants. Dr. Frost was associated for many years with
the giant Exxon organization as President of Exxon Minerals International. He is
renowned as a world class mine finder.

Richard Heine was with BBP World Minerals (formerly General Electric and Utah
International Inc.) from 1975-1999 and Senior Geologist 1985-1999.

A Phase I drilling start to test four (4) refined targets will begin the week of October 1st.

The Caprock-Northside-Milligan-Sheep and San Juan claims are located in Central New
Mexico on the projected extension of the world famous Silver Bell-Morenci Trend.

This porphyry copper belt has produced several world class open pit copper deposits
(see enclosed data).

There is very little outcrop in the project area.

Airborne geophysical targets with follow up soil sampling has been used to define drill
targets. These targets are what field men call potential blind mineral deposits.

The geophysical and geochemical targets are truly awesome in size and potential. (map
available from the company)

Please read carefully on site geologist Richard Heine''s current update.

Good luck to us all.

DRILL START FOR THE NORTHSIDE PROPERTY WEEK OF OCTOBER 1ST

Drilling will commence on the Northside property the week of October 1st. Stewart
Brothers Drilling Company has been contracted to drill 7 rotary holes, 1000 feet deep
each.

Kalahari Exploration property holdings include the Milligan, Caprock, Northside, Sheep
and San Juan mining claims. A total of 313 claims average approximately 20 acres each
and cover a combined project area of 9.8 square miles. The drill holes are sited to test
two enzyme leach oxidation anomalies previously referred to as the Northside and
Milligan anomalies and two magnetic anomalies located on the northeast edge of the
claim groups (see press release dated July 6, 2000). The enzyme leach survey at the
Northside property when compared with enzyme leach surveys from known Arizona
copper systems compare favourably. In fact, maximum, mean and medium chlorine and
bromine values at Northside are significantly higher than at any of the other copper
systems from which data is available.

NORTHSIDE ANOMALY

Interpretation of the aero magnetic survey for the Northside area suggests that the
Northside enzyme leach anomaly is localized on the southwest side of a major fault zone
(named the Milligan Fault). A number of selected linears derived from the enzyme leach
survey are present suggesting a nearby structural intersection. Additionally, peripheral to
the central low, copper, molybdenum, tungsten, uranium and rhenium are present as spot
anomalies. Two drill locations are spaced at approximately 800 feet and will test the
central low. The nested, oxidation anomaly measures approximately 2250 meters by
1750 meters (7381 feet by 5741 feet) while the central low measures 500 meters by 500
meters (1640 feet by 1640 feet).

MILLIGAN ANOMALY

The Milligan enzyme leach anomaly is directly centered on top of and is coincident with
the Milligan aeromagnetic anomaly.

The aeromagnetic anomaly is interpreted to be due to a buried intrusive source. The
anomaly measures 1035 meters by 480 meters (3400 feet by 1600 feet). The nested
oxidation anomaly at Milligan has a total extent of approximately 2250 meters by 1500
meters (7381 feet by 4921 feet) and the central low measures 550 meters by 650 meters
(1804 feet by 2132 feet). Three drill holes will test the central low at Milligan. Drill
spacing varies between 220 and 360 meters (750 feet and 1200 feet).

OTHER TARGETS

Two additional drill holes have been permitted to test two prominent aeromagnetic
anomalies that each measure 2000 feet by 3000 feet.

The following has been received from our joint venture partner, SouthernEra Resources
Ltd.:

Drilling at MacKay Lake began on September 9, 2000 to test for a possible extension of
the Snap Lake kimberlite sill developed by Winspear. As of September 20, the first drill
hole was at 400 meters and progressing on schedule at about 40 meters per 24 hours of
drilling. At this pace, the hole should reach its targeted 1200 meter depth in about three
weeks. Given the progress to date, it is probable that a second hole could be drilled prior
to winter.
