| Yeah, part of the problem is that I do the research, think about it some, but when I am ready to buy, I am pretty much ready to buy NOW. We signed that day. I got about a thousand knocked off, and probably half of that was bullshit. The only place that was showing a MUCH better deal in the paper was over 90 minutes into Virginia, and I was afraid of shlepping over there and finding out that the come- on cars were "sold". The price was solid, if not exceptional. Same with computers and tv and camcorders (of course, no haggling). I look at the ads, occasionally check them out when I am someplace buying something else, ask a few questions, read some stuff, but one day, I get that attitude, and grab the wife, and she KNOWS that I am ready to buy. And if something queers it that day, I am dreadfully frustrated, and get on it the next available day....... |
