007/OT: Board sentiment changes quickly. Esp one as saavy as this.

When talking about sentiment it's really my "seat of the pants" feel that comes via a lot of different inputs. I cruise quite a few different threads. Mostly on SI and Yahoo.

Also pick up from others a sense of what the talking heads are harping on as well as a ball park sense of whether analysts are getting more bullish after there has already been a good rally or more bearish after an extended decline.

As I've said before am not at all a quantitative guy in the way I approach the markets. It's really more right brained, "fuzzy logic" and improving, than methodical or structured and detailed analysis.

I sometimes call it "loose cannon" investing<g>. It's really a personalized style that's grown out of many years playing this game and it probably wouldn't work for most investors.

In fact, so much of the decision making process has become instinctive, doubt that I could even teach my own sons how to do it.
