Been a while since I posted here ... but here's my 2 cents relative to some of what you posted.

< Is Brown the person to turn EDS around ?????? >

You can't expect him to turn things around overnight, it takes time. He inherited a mess from Alberthal and Co.

< I just want him to get the stock price up to 71 and then I'm out of here except to short the stock. >

I hope you didn't buy at $71 or that area. In any event the above seems to be an emotionally driven statement, wanting to see a stock recover to a given price so one can exit without a loss. If your "sources" are painting such a bleak picture why not sell your shares now and take a loss? Or alternatively, if you doubled your position at the current price you'd only need to see it rise to $57 to get out without a loss. $44 to $57 is a 30% gain ... $44 to $71 is a 60+% gain.

< I could go on and on, I get a ear full every time I have lunch with folks that think EDS management is a joke. I have called friends who I know in Detroit and Dallas and they all say the same thing. >

Yeah and people are always complaining. I worked at EDS in the past for quite a while. If you are taking what you hear as gospel you might likely make some poor investment decisions and/or get a biased perspective. Employees often imply they know more than management and seem to get some satisfaction from such criticism.

< I need to get out of this company as soon as I can without taking a loss. >

The above I have never understood. People always want to NOT take a loss. I can only assume it is so they can say they were right when they break even or make a small profit. I don't mean this to be critical ... but we all make mistakes and admitting them at times is tough. I trade stocks for a living and if I make a bad trade I take my loss and move on. There are thousands of stocks out there. Since you see EDS' future as not so bright I would suspect you have other stocks that might hold more promise and thus, a better ROI. In any event, I hope you make out okay.
