Launch of Infomercial campaign fuels sales boom

Direct marketing company Bow Flex Inc. has launched its first aggressive 30 minute Infomercial
produced in conjunction with the award-winning advertising firm, Stilson & Stilson.

Bow Flex plans to intensify the Infomercial campaign because of the proven effectiveness of this
method of advertising.

According to US News and World Report gross sales of products generated by Infomercials
exceeded US$1.15 billion dollars back in 1995. This figure is expected to reach US$2 billion in 1997.
The same report indicated some 47.1 percent of these sales is derived from the fitness, health,
beauty and diet categories.

The Bow Flex campaign is already having a significant impact on sales.

"The initial response to our campaign has been very encouraging," said Bow Flew president, Brian
R. Cook "We reported record-breaking sales for the month of April and we anticipate even greater
revenues as we step up the frequency of Infomercials through the year."

Sales figures for April 1997 broke all previous Company records by topping CDN$1.7 million (US$
1.2 million).

Bow Flex is riding a wave of record breaking revenues. April was the third consecutive `US Million
Dollar Month'. Total Quarterly revenues rose 100 percent over the first quarter 1996, with earnings per
share reaching CDN$0.04 per share. In the same period in 1996, earnings per share were $0.01.

Bow Flex's line of fitness equipment remains a leader in home-training fitness equipment utilizing its
unique Power Rod system to effectively deliver an `isotonic resistance' workout, a form of exercise
highly recommended by fitness experts. The Company's fitness equipment was recognized by
