Dear Michael: There are two kinds of "Brightness". Book learning and street smarts. Rather then discuss the politicians I will bring it down to my personal level. My son, is the most BRILLIANT STUDENT I have ever known. When he did his undergraduate work the school put him on a FAST TRACK and he completed in one semester WITH A's very difficult courses that normally take a year. However, when it comes to ordinary life challenges he gets an F in my book. He's a great kid (actually 24 now) but I continually have to extricate him from silly situations which anyone with street smarts would be able to avoid. I for one do not give Gore even the benefit that he is more brilliant than Bush (I would like to know one Brilliant thing he has actually done) but even if he is just reading his book and observing his comments I dont see how anyone can give him any good marks for street smarts. Sorry thread but I believe this election is very important to us investors and is why I harp on it. JDN
