It seems to me that when the analyst at needham (hans) indicated a slow-down in the VCD market, that he was on top of things more then any of us. I remember the company publicly stating that the chip was in strong demand but that any potential slowdown would be because of a loader problem. Well, that doesnt mesh. I invested in this company because of its diversity in the digital future and the companies constant boasts of market share in VCD. Well, their boasts ran contrary to 11 million+ shorts and it seems that the shorts, hedge funds, the smart money(whatever and whoever-PB included) won out.

Go ahead and research my posts. I know there may be some ambivalent comments but for the most part I had been a die-hard cubie. But now I must ask: Where does the company stand? Do they have a good start in communications to overcome this VCD problem? Has CUBE not acted quickly enough in getting the head-start in DVD?

I was the only non-sort of this stock for quite a while, where many told me otherwise. I believed IR, my own research for the field, and the quality contributions of this thread. While the stock was going down, announcements were made weekly. Now there flat and the after-hours conference was a reitteration of the mornings call.

Why do they make this announcement only half-way into the earnings period?
