WRONG !!!

Think about it, with the PIII 1.13 Ghz failure, it's safe to assume that PIII can't get any faster until a process shrink to .13um, which won't happen until late next year, if at all.

This leaves a dead spot for Intel since AMD can clearly get much more speed out of the Athlon rather easily.

I doubt there's a production problem for P4, if they don't ramp P4, it is because of lack of DRDRAM availability.

There's no other rational excuse. Do you honestly think that Intel will just hand over the high end to AMD without a fight?
