A pleasant surprise! Just when I had resigned to accept the fact that no meaningful marketing from Verizon would occur in the near future especially after being told that Verizon won't push this until 2001 (due to needing to get their house in order after the BAM merger), I open our local paper today and see a 1/2 page Verizon ad featuring G! The ad listed 6 authorized agents and I have called everyone. All had intelligent life concerning G, 3 had demo phones, all had and are selling phones, all were very upbeat about the prospects. I spoke with 2 store owners who have bought the stock, 3 have sold car kits (5 units in last 60 days) 1 has sold 2 marine kits in the last 3 wks, all say interest is picking up. Whew! Beats the heck out of the responses I got from US dealers 3 months and especially last March and April when I really began my push. Hard to get an accurate count on numbers but each dealer claimed they had sold 20 or more in the last 2 months so that is 120 here in podunk Boise Id, not the population center of the universe. I am encouraged!
