I have started a new thread dedicated to the Rechargeable Battery Industry. I would like to invite any readers to participate in debating the industry on-line. I posted a message in the Valence and Ultralife threads to the same effect. I have posted about 30 competitors there and would like any objective input into the industry. Although I started it for Lithium Polymer, it is geared toward all battery technologies (aer is in the list of 30) I started the thread with the hope of furthering my understanding of the industry and the industry's participants. I think providing one place in which to pool our knowledge will allow us to identify the most promising technologies and identify the most serious threats. Anything is open here -- maybe somone can show that this industry is not as attractive as I thought. Although, I hope that is not the case. I would especially appreciate any input regarding the latest aer announcment -- I think most posters in the battery threads were expecting lithium polymer composites to dominate the celluar market -- this is an interesting turn.
