AimGlobal may overhaul trucking industry By Business Media Network staff Thursday, September 21, 2000 AimGlobal Technologies Company has been awarded a $20 million contract to provide a monitoring system for trucks, in partnership with Wheel Monitor Inc. Wheel Monitor Inc. produces trailer monitoring modules which communicate with a display in the tractor cab. One of these modules is a National Safety Transportation Board mandated brake-fault warning system for anti-lock brakes. Other modules monitor and warn drivers if systems are not functioning correctly. "This is a unique strategic partnership where, together with evolving legislation, advanced electronics manufacturing and a focus on growing truck safety markets, we will play an important role as a leading technical provider of services to the truck manufacturing industry," said Steve deJaray, chairman and CEO of AimGlobal Technologies.
