GSLI acquisition, $30 mil+ optical telecom sales goal, next year…
I noticed that today's GSLI news release (@11:45 AM) includes the CEO's projected goal of 8-10% of sales next year, to be in optical telecom. Conservatively, that looks like a goal of more than $30 million dollars in optical telecom sales. That's a great start, in my opinion. This company appears to be on a very good growth track, in the hottest market, going forward.

I'm glad that I bought in, already, and I'm looking at this as a long-term investment in a very good company. Furthermore, GSLI's business is centered on laser-focused automated production solutions, which I imagine they integrate into their fiber-optics telecom production and future plans, as well (the company is not too chatty about that).

Today's acquisition was a cash deal. GSLI is profitable, with sales of nearly $350 million, last fiscal year. They held about $100 million in cash, prior to this acquisition, but I don't know how much this purchase cost GSLI.
