Don, HDTV is still thousands of dollars away per unit cost Head on over to your nearest Best Buy. Same size RP HDTV sets vs. conventional RP ones are within a few hundred of each other now. They've come down by about 50% since only 5 months ago. I know cause I'm in the market for one and I've looked at them. I'm looking to get one of the new 50" Plasma displays though not the RP type. Yes, those are more expensive but it has nothing to do with HDTV. It's just a new type of technology.
