Look at the Naz chart since the end of March - this market has been a total waste of time, frankly, on a net-net basis.

Now INTC is warning. That will only add to the random wandering this market represents for 2000.

Unless we get a decent end of year rally, this will be a year to write off and forget.

The funny thing about the market is the way it is shaped by participants, not news. They determine who is buying and selling. But they let themselves get psyched out by the background noise and create self-fulfilling prophecies.

I am buying stocks with the idea that sooner or later - probably later - they will pay off handsomely.

Short-term I wish I was back on the beach in France without a Net connection.
