Pardon me, but INTC has warned or surprised negatively almost every few quarters. They did it last fall and in 98 and 97 as well. Its a great company, but its got a history of disappointing on occasion. You can talk about what intel has done in the past all you want...usually they were off on their EPS numbers; it doesn't mean squat now however because this time they are off on their revenues...the thing the markets are freaked out about most right now...that sales are slowing and we are heading towards a recession. In the meantime the tech stocks are cratering in after hours...EMC, CSCO, MSFT etc. ted
