Some Tech stocks are still priced to near perfection - Intel was trading at a P/E of 57 which is about 2x it's historical. AMD is one of the few semis fairly valued based on historical "norms". based on 2001 projected earnings it is cheap. That doesn't mean much except that this is the summer when semis often reach their cyclical lows.

To traders like myself that means buy AMD! I love irrational panic selling - particularly this time of the year and when semis are already beaten down. AMD traded as low as 24 in the aftermarket. My order at 24 hasn't filled. Another order for 24 7/16 looks close but still hasn't filled. I may jump in and grab some at around 25 or just wait for more fear and panic to come in the morning.

Good luck - this is a wonderful time to be a buyer for a trading pop or a longer-term seasonal trend.
