COHR's subsidiary Lambda Physik AG began trading in Frankfurt today. Initial offer price was 35 euros and it closed at 61 euros. Coherent owns 60.4% of Lambda and did not sell any of its stake in the IPO. COHR closed today at 72 and just traded at 73 17/32 after hours. This is especially noteworthy in light of Intel's pre-announcement and its impact on many technology stocks after hours. It's chart has been pretty sloppy for the last couple of weeks. Maybe this is the catalyst to get it moving over 80. I don't hold a position at this time. biz.yahoo.com
