I call the rights I want, and which I think promote my life and happiness and my families life and happiness, good. But I know it is meaningless, ultimately, to call them so. That does not mean it is relatively meaningless. In my relative world in my country full of relative values- I am free to say what I relatively choose. And I work for what I want to have relatively happen. Just because something is relative- that does not make it meaningless, it just makes it impossible to universally apply it.

To apply my relative values across time (some 500 years) and across nations, seems to me silly. I can do it- and probably come up with the same opinion you do- but I don't like to.
