I'm taking up heavy drinking again. Seems every year I habitually buy in an historically risky period. When will I ever learn? And when will analysts learn how to "manage" earnings expectations so that this doesn't happen every year? (My short answer: MWD, MER, etc...they love this cycle...'cuz they need to generate higher Nazy trading volume to get their trading revenue. I suspect they make full use of puts well in advance. Just a nutty theory.)
