The irony is that tech companies are still growing sales (and even some profits) very nicely. This is just a turn in market psychology for the worse.

If news comes along in a few weeks that points the other direction, we could be over 4000 again.

It's just that kind of year. I would rather buy value in this climate than risk constant whipsaws from sentiment changes.
