| Chris, It is becoming quite apparent, that you will not answer any question that gives you pause. You asking mark to look up an ancient post, is a cop out on your part, just as much as your refusal, in the past, to answer my questions about how you know that you are of the "elect" or "chosen". You never replied if God told you were such, or whether you, in your vain glorious opinion, decided on your own that you were chosen by God. Even your bosom buddy, Brian Valentine, had to admit that all souls on Earth have been chosen by God to enter the Kingdom of Heaven, if they bent to His will to accept Jesus Christ as His Son, and Lord and Savior of mankind. That is not an example of man willing himself into Heaven, but an example of man following God's will. To think that you have been chosen above others to enter the Kingdom, is about as egotistical an approach as I can imagine, and by thinking such, you belittle yourself, and cause harm to the Christian movement. What you espouse, is not in keeping with the teachings of Jesus. ~H~ |
